The beautiful light that flooded through the window illuminated Kate’s veil perfectly. The ceremony was formal but with its fair share of fun! On leaving the church, husband and wife were greeted by a huge crowd and showered in confetti!
The reception was at the grand old naval hospital in Chatham. The kids had a fantastic time running around the lawn at the front of the building! The huge, oak-panelled dining hall was set up spectacularly with each table being named after a famous ship. In the foyer, where the welcome drinks were being served, a pianist kept everyone entertained with some real classics. The location and the weather could not have been better and we were all really looking forward to when Kent Bride was published in September.
After the wedding breakfast was over, the speeches started. There were a lot of moments to capture there! Everyone then spilled out into the evening light while the room was being cleared for the dancing to start. First the newlyweds cut the cake. Then they took to the floor for the first dance. The band struck up and the party started!
