We have worked together for several years on various photography projects ranging from photographing the tribes of the Amazon rainforest to the beauty of the North Norfolk coast. Both George (Bareham) and Jonathan (Lewis) have a professional background as documentary photographers and specialise is capturing the moment as it happens. We work individually and as a team to photograph weddings, tailoring our packages to the requirements of the couple.
Our main areas of wedding photography are Norfolk (Jonathan) and Surrey (George) but we love travelling and photograph weddings nationally and internationally so please get in touch wherever your wedding is planned to be.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your lives and cannot be repeated. We specialise in capturing the real moments from your wedding – no endless posing, posturing or directing – you can relax and enjoy your big day safe in the knowledge that we will unobtrusively document the small and large moments of your wedding day. From your first kiss as a married couple, to a joke between friends or a reaction to your best man’s speech, we will photograph it all as it happens on the day and provide you with a record you can look back happily on for many years to come. Our photography is classic, honest and emotive and we aim to capture the genuine spirit of your wedding.
Now we have talked about what we offer, her is a bit more about us individually.
I have loved photography since I was a child; a photograph documents a moment that may otherwise be missed so it can be enjoyed and shared for years.
I have photographed all over the world and my work has been published in local, national and international newspapers and magazines including The Times and National Geographic.
Alongside wedding photography I also run photography training courses, some of which focus on wildlife. My experience as a wildlife photographer equips me with the skills required to capture beautiful but often all too fleeting moments.
I enjoy applying my talent to photograph weddings in a unique way, which will be special to you. I find it greatly rewarding to see clients happy with their wedding photographs and I work my hardest to get amazing shots so you can look back on your wedding forever (the moments you do and don’t remember!).
I’m serious about getting excellent photos but I’m also very approachable and open. I enjoy the challenge of working alone on a wedding, but also enjoy working with George as our photography styles compliment each other well.
I am based in Ketteringham, a small village close to Norwich in Norfolk. I love living in Norfolk, which from the coast to the Broads has so much to offer. When I’m not photographing I enjoy travelling (31 countries so far and counting!), getting out into nature, walking my dog, reading and spending time with my friends and family.
I have spent many years travelling the globe, photographing the people and places along the way; from presidents to the street kids of Nairobi. It is my absolute passion to document the unique lives of people and to show their true selves in a moment in time. I’m proud to say that my work has brought me awards.
A wedding day is an incredibly emotional event and for, as a photographer, capturing those emotions using the beauty of the available light is absolutely crucial. The real story of your day is in the details.
When shooting a wedding, my aim is to be as unobtrusive as possible. I want you to to forget I’m there! This is something we have both gained a reputation for. You just enjoy your special day and we’ll be there to document it.
You’ll find me laid back but dedicated. Hard working but very approachable and friendly!
I live in Surbiton, Surrey now but I’m actually a Yorkshireman. I have a flat hat but I don’t own a whippet.
When I’m not photographing I’m likely to be making a racket, playing the drums or enjoying the peace and quiet of the local countryside.
